Oceanos Obsession

I'm obsessing over the tune El Parrandero on David Binney and Ed Simmon's CD Oceanos. Starts with a slightly tilted 4 note (3 distinct) theme. Layer in funky traps and bongos interplay. Layer in a mechanistic, double-time guitar theme complemented a short time later with bass and then horns. Sax makes the statement. the horn section rises in a deep, rich pulse. Piano solos a latin cool collage. Pulse the horn section. Back to the machine and the sax statement flowing to a sax solo. End with horns all becoming independent moving parts in the kinetic, rainbow machine. wow, that's bad ...hope no one is reading this.
