where you been?

hi. it's been a while. happy new year, happy new president, happy world economic crisis, happy middle-east conflict and happy valentines day. does that catch us up? I've been reminiscing with Weather Report lately. I digitized a couple of old albums, Tail Spinnin and 8:30, and picked up Mysterious Traveller. I love the world music feel of Weather Report, the percussion, the ensemble play, the vocalese and variety of instrument voices, the escape to where-ever, the smells, the colors, the feel, Jaco, Wayne, Joe... awesome. The last track on Mysterious Traveller, Jungle Book sticks in my head.
