It's Glasper Again

Favorites are... all of them. I really like "Of Dreams to Come" and "One for 'Grew". But "Tribute", a tribute to his Robert's mother, Kim, has brought me to tears many times.

Groove got Soul

It was 70's Fusion that got me started on Jazz and Billy Cobham and George Duke were two of its masters. I just love the energy and joy that is pouring out of this performance by these two and their group.

Where Do the Children Play?

On a long drive home, shuffling through my iPod an old Cat Stevens song came on. The title line just hit me like a ton a bricks. "I know we've come a long way. We're changing day to day. But tell me, where do the children play?". This is a deep and timeless question that points in many different directions. I looked on youtube for a performance but frankly I like the original recording better than the live versions.
